According to statement issued their cavalcade was stopped en route at Ria Siot, after which they began to walk upto Sunderbani where they were sent back by Police officers deployed there along with local Administration.

Their tall claims of normalcy are shaken by Rajouri incident. They have failed to protect the minority community first in Kashmir and now in Jammu,” he said, criticising the administration. We vehemently condemn the terror attack by Pakistani-backed terrorists against the minority community in Rajouri. It is a conspiracy against them.
He said Pakistan and terrorists sponsored by it are trying to show their existence by carrying out these ghastly acts. “Pakistan’s nefarious designs have increased and the need of the hour is to teach Pakistan a lesson for all its misdeeds,” he said.He said it was big tragedy which not only caused human loss but also spread a wave of panic in the entire area. He demanded justice and 50 lacs compensation for the families.
Bhalla further said that situation in Jammu and Kashmir is getting worse with every passing day and both Kashmir and Kashmiriyat are in danger. No one knows where the BJP, which has been doing politics in the name of Kashmir for years, is missing nowadays,” he said.
Stating that Rajouri militant attack reflects utter failure of Central Govt on Security front, he termed the innocent killings shameful and unacceptable. He also expressed shock over the killing of Child in a blast near yesterday’s attack site while condemning the innocent killings in strongest words.
Strongly condemning the killing of four persons in a militant attack and killing of child due to blast near attack site in Rajouri, Bhalla expressed deep shock and anguish over the innocent killings, termed the attack as mindless and shameful, urging the Govt to identify the militants for exemplary punishment. Killings in any form are highly condemnable and unacceptable in a civilized society,Bhalla added.
Bhalla termed the attack a big failure of both Central and State Govt on security front, who have miserably failed to ensure security of common people despite their assurances and tall claims. He also termed the blast near attack site a security lapse which has cost another precious life of child.
Bhalla slammed Central Govt for failing to ensure peaceful atmosphere whilst the situation has turned from bad to worse, which cannot be denied given the frequent militant attack on civilians and security forces, he rued.He emphasized the Govt to take effective measures to put an end to bloodshed and ensure safety of common people. He also demanded adequate compensation to next of the kin of slain persons.
Manmohan Singh advised the BJP to accept the realities, instead of indulging in blame games and mudslinging against the established political establishment of the state. They must spare some time to go through the history of J&K, including that of the recent times post 1990, and know the pluralistic ethos of this place. He said the so-called senior BJP leaders are unaware of the great role played by Congress in fighting cult of terror violence, which has claimed so many lives of the cadre, including the senior leaders.
How can the role of Congress be undermined, whose relentless efforts witnessed normalcy returning back to the Valley and peace heralding across J&K, he asked, saying that all the gains of the decades due to relentless and focused efforts of Congress leadership have got washed away by anti-people and myopic policies of the BJP.
Amrit Bali speaking on the occasion said frequent terror attacks speaks volumes about the much trumpeted normalcy claims of the government, both at the Centre and J&K, which they have reduced to a Union Territory, thus belittling the people of Jammu and Kashmir. He said the PM Package KP, as also the Dogra employees, have been on protests for months together and nobody in the government appears to be serious in mitigating their problems.
They are being forced to run a helter skelter for seeking redressal of their issues, he added.Bali asked the BJP to stop living in make believe world, as the people of Jammu and Kashmir cannot be swayed anymore by rhetoric and reactionary politics. He said the BJP has not only failed on the security front in this sensitive part of the country but has let the people down on economic, employment and development fronts as well. To conceal its failures, the BJP is resorting to short cut of character assassination of the adversaries, he added.
