BJP candidate Sanjay Seth files nomination from Ranchi Lok Sabha seat
Ranchi (Jharkhand) [India], May 2 (ANI): Sanjay Seth filed his nomination as a BJP candidate from the Ranchi Lok Sabha constituency for the 2024 general elections.
During the filing of the nomination paper, Seth was accompanied by Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami.
Earlier today, CM Dhami also held a roadshow and expressed confidence that the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) will win all 14 seats in Jharkhand.
“The entire nation wants to see Narendra Modi become Prime Minister for the third time. In Jharkhand, the mood is one-sided (in favour of the BJP). People are excited. The NDA will win all 14 seats in Jharkhand. Sanjay Seth ji will break all records and win over Ranchi to reach the Parliament,” CM Dhami told.
“Modi ji will become PM for the third time,” he added.
CM Dhami also took to X, and wrote, “Under the able leadership of the respected Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi ji, various schemes are being run for the upliftment of every section of the society, as a result of which for the first time after the independence of the country, people of the tribal society are also joining the mainstream.
“Certainly, in this Lok Sabha election, the people of Jharkhand will give their invaluable contribution in achieving the resolution of “Abki Baar 400 Paar,” CM Dhami added.
Polling in Ranchi will be held on May 25.
Elections will be held in Jharkhand in four phases: May 13, 20, 25, and June 1.
In 2019, the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) won 12 seats in Jharkhand, with the BJP winning 11. The Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) and Congress got one seat each.
The general elections are being held in seven phases in a six-week marathon running from April 19 to June 1.
Polling for the first phase and the second phase was held on April 19 and April 26, respectively.
The next round of voting will be held on May 7. The results will be declared on June 4.
