BJP celebrates 78th Independence Day with fervour in J&K

JAMMU, 16 Aug: Bharatiya Janata Party, Jammu & Kashmir celebrated its 78th Independence Day by hoisting the National Flag amidst Nationalist sloganeering and distribution of sweets, across the length and breadth of Jammu and Kashmir.

At BJP headquarters, Trikuta Nagar, Ravinder Raina, President, J&K BJP, Ashok Koul, General Secretary (organization), and Kavinder Gupta, former Dy CM hoisted the national flag. Aseem Gupta, Neelam Langeh, Tilak Raj Gupta, Dr. Pardeep Mahotra, Rekha Mahajan, General Rakesh Sharma, Prof Kulbhushan Mohtra, Arun Prabhat Jamwal, Ranjodh Singh Nalwa, Prem Gupta, Dil Bahadur Jamwal, Er TK Sharma, Nitish Mahajan and others were present on the occasion.

At Pt. Prem Nath Dogra Bhawan, Kachi Chawni BJP office, former Minister Sat Sharma CA, former MP Shamsher Singh, Arvind Gupta, Veenu Khanna, Parmod Kapahi, Ayodhya Gupta, Sanjita Dogra, Sanjay Baru, Balbir Ram Rattan, Adv Rajesh Gupta and others hoisted the national flag.

At City Chowk, MP (Lok Sabha), Jugal Kishore Sharma, BJP NEM Priya Sethi, Vice-President Yudhvir Sethi, Purnima Sharma, Sunil Prajapati, Hari Om Sharma and others hoisted the national flag.

Congratulating his fellow citizens on the 78th Independence Day, Ravinder Raina stressed that we can breathe in free air because of the sacrifices of the heroes. He remembered the supreme sacrifices of Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev, Rajguru, Mangal Pandey, Tantya Tope, Chander Shekhar Azad, Ashfaq Ulla Khan, and other freedom fighters.

“Today, I along with the whole nation bow in the feet of these great personalities”, he said. He also expressed gratitude to the jawans of military, paramilitary, police, civil defense, home guards, and others who dedicate themselves to protecting us and our nation.
