BJP celebrates Deepawali with religious fervour

JAMMU, 13 November 2023: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Jammu & Kashmir, organized Deepawali Milan and celebrated the occasion with religious fervour amid Vedic Aarti and distributed sweets at the party headquarter, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.

J&K BJP general secretary (Org.) Ashok Koul accompanied by MP Jugal Kishore Sharma, former Dy. CM Kavinder Gupta, former MP (Rajya Sabha) Shamsher Singh Manhas, former Minister Abdul Ghani Kohli, Dr. Ali, Prabhat Singh, Arvind Gupta, Tilak Raj Gupta, Baldev Billawaria, Dr. Pardeep Mahotra, Kulbhushan Mohtra, Arun Dev Jamwal, Sanjita Dogra, Ranjodh Singh Nalwa, Prem Gupta, Parmod Kapahi, Omi Khajuria, Rekha Mahajan, Sunil Shastri, Ayodhya Gupta, Jangveer Singh Chikoo, Hans Raj Loria, Surinder Bhagat and others participated in the Aarti and the celebration of Deepawali.

Ravinder Raina, President, J&K BJP, in his message, wished all the fellow citizens many wishes on the auspicious day of Deepawali, celebrated on the Kartik Amavasya. This festival, he said, signifies the return of God Shree Ram upon his victory of good over evil. This day also signifies the ‘Vadh’ of Hiranyakashyap and incarnation of Mata Lakshmi and God Dhanvantri, he said and wished good fortune to everybody.

Ashok Koul wished all the BJP activists and the fellow citizens and said that the occasion teaches to follow the path of truth and fight for the right cause. He said that on this day, they pray to the Almighty that everyone is blessed with righteousness and human kind progresses ahead with the entire world as a single family.

Jugal Kishore Sharma, while extending Deepawali greetings, prayed for fulfilling the lives of the people with lights and bringing joy and happiness for them. He expressed hope that the party will celebrate next year’s Deepawali with Narendra Modi as Prime Minister for the third consecutive term.

Kavinder Gupta, wished the people and the party leaders on the auspicious occasion of Deepawali and prayed to God to bestow peace and happiness upon the vast lands of the nation and the whole world. He wished for peace, prosperity and health for everyone in the world.

Shamsher Singh Manhas, on this occasion, said that the real objective of celebrating the festivals can only be achieved when people forget the differences and treat each other as members of a family.
