BJP celebrates its 44th foundation day across Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh
JAMMU, 6 April 2024: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) celebrated its 44th foundation day across the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir. J&K BJP President Ravinder Raina accompanied by former President Ashok Khajuria, former Dy. CM Kavinder Gupta, General Secretary Dr. Devinder Kumar Manyal, and other senior leaders hoisted the party flag at BJP headquarters, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu. Raina and other leaders also distributed Halwa on the occasion to celebrate the occasion and extended greetings of the day to the party members. BJP National General Secretary & Prabhari Tarun Chugh along with General Secretary Sunil Sharma and Minister of State Dr Darakhshan Andrabi, also hoisted the party flag and addressed the party leaders at S1 Church Lane in Srinagar.
In Ladakh, Ashok Koul, General Secretary (organization) accompanied by Jamyang and other party leaders led the party’s foundation day celebrations in Leh. On the occasion, he asked the party activists to work dedicatedly for the welfare of the people he also asked the party workers to leave no stone unturned to secure a big victory margin for BJP in the Parliament election 2024. Tarun Chugh addressed the gathering, highlighting the party’s vision and achievements in Jammu and Kashmir, emphasizing its dedication to the region’s development, welfare, and unity. He also highlighted the transformation of Kashmir from terrorism to tourism under the Modi government.
Ravinder Raina said that today BJP is celebrating its 44th foundation day. He said that on this day in 1980, the BJP was established to provide a strong nationalist voice in the National political space. He said that earlier BJP served the people as Janata Party and Jana Sangha. He said that today, the party has established itself as the unique voice of the people of the country due to the selfless hard work of its dedicated cadre and the strong leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Raina said that today, BJP has strengthened the nation and empowered the people living in the last corner of the society, thus effectively fulfilling the aim of BJP stalwarts who dedicated their whole lives to the nation. He, on the occasion, remembered the brave soldiers and also paid tributes to all veteran leaders of BJP who had sacrificed their lives, their pleasures, and other worldly needs to serve the motherland. It is due to the hard work and dedicated efforts of BJP workers, that the party today, is the largest political party of the world, he added.
All party senior leaders including MPs, former Ministers, former MLAs, former MLCs, J&K BJP Office Bearers, party District Presidents, party’s DDCs, BDCs, all party leaders, party’s active & primary members and all other party activists also hoisted party flags at their residences and also joined the party activists at booth levels across the J&K UT to hoist the party flag.
At party headquarters, BJP leaders Chander Mohan Sharma, Aseem Gupta, Tilak Raj Gupta, Purnima Sharma, Arun Gupta, Baldev Billawaria, Balbir Ram Rattan, Dr Pardeep Mahotra, Kulbhushan Mohtra, YV Sharma, Rekha Mahajan, Sunil Prajapati, Vinay Gupta, Puneet Mahajan, Lucky Puri, Kerni, Adarsh Jathiar, Chaman Bhagat, Jeet Angral, Umesh Gabbar, Kulwant Singh Bhatti, Adv Rajesh Thappa, Neena Gupta, Indu Puri, Govind Sareen, Mohan Rana, Vistarak Ashok, TK Sharma, Pooja Grover, Ravinder Birpuria, Sanjay Bakshi, Rajinder Koul, Rinku Chouhan, Divya Jain, Sartaj Singh, and other party leaders were present.
