BJP Condemns JKNC-INC Alliance as a Threat to National Unity and Jammu’s Future

The Chief Spokesperson of the Jammu and Kashmir BJP Shri Sunil Sethi, today issued a strong statement condemning the alliance between the National Conference (JKNC) and the Indian National Congress (INC). Suni Sethi accused the JKNC of promoting separatism and terrorism in their manifesto and questioned the Congress Party’s decision to align with such forces.

He was addressing a press conference in Jammu along with Arun Gupta, Dr. Tahir Choudhary, Balbir Ram Rattan and Dr. Pardeep Mahotra.

“JKNC’s manifesto explicitly talks about separatism, releasing jailed individuals involved in anti-national activities, and halting security measures like frisking on roads. Despite this, the Congress has chosen to join hands with a party that supports separatist and terrorist agendas,” Sunil Sethi stated.

He questioned the intentions of the INC, asking, “Does the Congress Party endorse the JKNC’s agenda? Do the people of Jammu want the restoration of Article 370 and 35A? Do they want to see an increase in terrorism and the return of separatist forces?”

Sunil Sethi emphasized that the alliance between JKNC and INC is a deceptive move to mislead the people of Jammu. “Congress leaders present themselves differently to the public, but their alliance with JKNC shows their true intentions. They are working against the interests of Jammu,” he added.

Contrasting the BJP’s stance, Sunil Sethi highlighted the party’s commitment to national unity and support for patriotic citizens. He said “BJP has always stood by those who sacrificed their lives for the country. We gave our mandate in Kishtwar to the daughter of such patriots. In contrast, JKNC and PDP have consistently supported individuals who advocate terrorism and separatism.”

Sunil Sethi outlined two distinct political streams in Jammu and Kashmir: one that strives for national strength and peace, and another that works to destabilize the region and empower anti-national elements. “Jammu and Kashmir is now on a path to peace and progress, and only the BJP can ensure the welfare of youth, women, and farmers,” he asserted.

He also noted that the BJP is the only party that has genuinely worked for the SC, ST, PoJK, and West Pakistani refugees and appeal to the public to recognize these anti-national forces because they will work against you while sitting among you.

Reflecting on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, Sunil Sethi said, “during his 10-year tenure, Modi fulfilled every promise he made.
