Sat inaugurates tile work in Dev Asthan, lane
JAMMU, September 12: Sat Sharma, former BJP president and former Minister, accompanied by Ward 40 JMC councilor Neelam Nargotra, today initiated the work for laying of tiles in the Sajawatian Dev Asthan, and the Paver Tiles in the adjoining lane in Ward No 40.
J&K BJP Treasurer Prabhat Singh, Media Secretary Dr. Pardeep Mahotra, Atul Bakshi, Arun Dubey, Abhishek, Rajesh Saini, Rahul, Anupam, Paramjeet Kour, Vikas Kumar alongwith, Rajinder Singh Retd. MES employee, Goutam Singh, Naresh Singh, Sanjay Jamwal, Sandeep Singh, Vikram Singh (Jimmy), Vinod Singh, Mohinder Singh, Jatinder Singh, JMC JE Shabab, and others were present.
Sat Sharma said that with the laying of tile in the Dev Asthan and the adjoining lane, the people would now get respite from the problems being faced due to recent damage in the lane. He added that the Dev Asthan attracts heavy footfall and the laying of tiles would facilitate in the social congregations.
The former minister was of the view that all the wards of Jammu Municipal Corporation have seen massive development and a new face lift has been given to them.
“Today the people living in different wards of Jammu have better roads, lanes, drains, electric poles, besides doorstep service of lifting garbage and house waste by the JMC vehicles”, he said and added that the BJP councilors are following Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s line of Sabka saath Sabka vikas Sabka vishwas and making all out efforts to ensure that each ward is developed as per the needs and expectations of the people.
Neelam Nargotra said that her efforts are to make Ward 40 as the “Model Ward” of the Jammu Municipal Corporation and she will leave no stone unturned to accomplish this mission. She, on the occasion, appealed to the locals to share their concerns about the remaining development works.
Prabhat Singh said that a large number of people visit this Dev Asthan, where social events and rituals are performed and hence it is necessary that such places should have all the required basic amenities.
Dr. Pardeep Mahotra praised the Ward Councillor for her endeavours to provide the best facilities to the ward residents and insisted that she is taking forward the development mission of the Prime Minister in every nook and corner.
