Says Govt failed to do justice with OBC community

KATHUA, January 14th : The present government has lowered the morale of youth to unprecedented low due to sheer misgovernance in absence of any representative government in place in Jammu and Kashmir. The future of youth is quite bleak with recruitment scams having become the norm in this sensitive region. 

This was stated by Abdul Gani Teli, Provincial President OBC Cell   Jammu and Kashmir National Conference (JKNC) Jammu while addressing a workers meeting at Mai Chak village of district Kathua. The meeting was organized by Rajiv Singh and Zahoor Hussain, NC leaders of district Kathua.

Addressing the party workers, the senior NC leader said that BJP has failed on all fronts as unemployment touching pinnacle and the future of the youths becoming bleak with each passing day as the BJP government has no concrete policy.   He said that the way the recruitment process was mishandled in Jammu and Kashmir it seems that the BJP leadership is neck-deep involved in corruption as every job exam was exposed to be marred with malpractices with corrupt ruling the roost.

Teli said as far as basic amenities and civic edifice are concerned the government has proved out to be a complete failure as people are longing for the same but the BJP leadership is busy in rhetoric. He said that under the poor performance of the BJP Government every single segment of the society is protesting be it the daily wagers or Home Guards. He said that the targeted killing is the BJP Government’s ‘gift’ to the people because before this dispensation’s tenure no one had listened to this form of terrorism. He said that Kashmiri Pandits and reserved category people are on roads for the first time in the history of Jammu and Kashmir.

He asserted that the people belonging to OBC community are reeling under depressed conditions as the present dispensation in J&K has utterly failed to provide justice to this underprivileged section of the society.

The senior OBC leader also accused the ruling Govt at the Centre of conspiring with J&K Administration to destroy the socio-cultural fabrique of J&K through various Govt decisions and orders. He added that attempt is being made to divide the communities but the National Conference will not allow any such element to succeed in their divisive endeavours.

Abdul Gani Teli asserted that National Conference is fully committed to fight the divisive forces and to promote secularism, communal harmony and brotherhood across Jammu and Kashmir. He asked people to maintain communal harmony at all costs. He appealed to the people of district Kathua to support National Conference in the upcoming Assembly elections in J&K to get rid of all the miseries thrust upon them by the BJP Govt.
