BJP has become first choice of masses: Vibodh Gupta

Adv. Vibodh Gupta, General Secretary, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Jammu & Kashmir and former MLC, while addressing a public meeting at village Majheen of Bajalta in Jammu East Assembly Constituency, said that the days of Congress, NC and PDP are over and their political extinction is unavoidable. This is a ground reality but still their leaders are dreaming of a comeback, which is almost next to impossible.

Adv. Vibodh Gupta made these observations, while reacting to the repeated misleading slogans of these parties which are promising a moon if voted to power. He said that seventy years is not a small period and the people of Jammu & Kashmir have seen and suffered at the hands of these parties due to their politics of dynasty, corruption and mis-governance. Citing a few examples, he said that under the garb of special status of the constitution, step motherly treatment was given to different regions and different sections in J&K. He said that refugees, STs, Valmiki Samaj had no place in the programmes and policies of these parties.

After decades of sufferings, the neglected sections have finally got justice from Prime Minister Narendra Modi led government, which treated all equal in matters related to development, welfare and socio-economic upliftment. It will not be wrong to say that today BJP has become the first choice of masses and with each passing day more and more people embracing it.

While addressing the meeting, BJP District Jammu President Parmod Kapahi said that there is a visible change in the entire length and breadth of Jammu & Kashmir like other parts of the country. The Modi government has gifted J&K with a number of prestigious projects of connectivity, communication, healthcare, education, technology etc.

The youth of today is looking forward with high hopes of progress in life as he or she has more and reliable options to prosper, said IT Department Co Incharge Adv Karan Sharma.

Bishan Singh, Omkar Singh, Abdul Hameed, Saif Ali, Kuldeep Singh, Sagar Singh, Madan Lal, Shiv Dayal, Abdul Mehmood, Qaramat Ali, Kakku, Hatim Hussain, Sher Ali, Farid Ahmed, Babu Ram were amongst the prominent people present in the programme.
