BJP holds interaction with new entrants
Abrogation of Article 370 was our core agenda: Koul
Stating that the removal of Article 370 of the constitution was core agenda of the party, Jammu and Kashmir, BJP General Secretary (organization), Ashok Koul, said that finally the controversial provision has been removed forever, which is indeed a big achievement for the nation and its interests in this erstwhile state, now UT.
Ashok Koul was addressing a large gathering of over four hundred people, who have joined the party during the last few months in entire length and breadth of Jammu and Kashmir.
He said that the BJP’s country-wide joining programmes are receiving overwhelming response in Jammu and Kashmir as well and during the last few months, thousands of people from all the religions, regions and classes have voluntarily opted to get associated with the party and contribute in nation building through their past experience of working in different capacities. People in even the remotest areas are joining BJP and expressing their willingness to be soldiers of the party. The joining of a large number of retired senior officials, elected representatives, prominent businessmen, sports personalities, intellectuals, ex-servicemen, social & religious activists, youth, women, SCs, STs, OBCs, minorities, Paharis etc have sent a very clear message that the people across the country, cutting across their faiths and social status, have made up mind to see Narendra Modi to lead the nation for third consecutive term and continue his efforts towards achieving target of Viksit Bharat by 2047.
Ashok Koul stressed upon these new entrants to go through the programmes and policies of the BJP and reach the people in their respective areas to garner their support for the party in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
BJP senior leader and former MP Shamsher Singh Manhas, NEM and former minister Priya Sethi, BJP Joining Programmes Incharge Balwant Mankotia, Co-Incharges Baldev Singh Billawaria and Ranjodh Singh Nalwa, also addressed the new entrants.
