BJP holds Jammu-Reasi Parliamentary Election Management Committee meeting

After the declaration of the candidates for LS elections, BJP held meeting of Jammu-Reasi Parliamentary constituency at party headquarter, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu, chaired by the Constituency Incharge Balwant Singh Mankotia, the former MLA.

Former Deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta, BJP State Vice Presidents Sham Lal Choudhary (former minister), Surjeet Singh Salathia (former minister) and Chander Mohan Gupta (former Mayor), shared the dais in this meeting.

The meeting was convened to further gear up the election related activities across the constituency, wherein, the working of different departments was also discussed in length.

Balwant Singh Mankotia, while chairing the meeting, said that the party activists have to put best efforts in all the 2363 booths, 73 mandals and 790 shakti kendras in the Jammu-Reasi Parliamentary constituency and not rest till the lotus blooms with record victory. He said that every election is an opportunity to reach the masses with the achievements of the party and its government and mobilize the public support for winning every seat and the BJP has too much to claim as its achievements. 

Chander Mohan Gupta, also the Convenor of the constituency, said that micro-management upto the booth level will lead to success and every activist bestowed with an important responsibility has to devote more time for the entire campaign period. Everyone has to deem first and most important duty to contribute in victory of party’s candidate, he said.

Kavinder Gupta, while addressing the meeting, said that every activist of the party has been given an important assignment for election management and each one has to prove his or her ability, capability to face the challenging task bravely. He said that every department of the party has its own role and united efforts will lead to achieve the desired results in the upcoming polls of Lok Sabha.

Sham Choudhary said that there is great enthusiasm among the people and are waiting for the polling day to vote overwhelmingly in favour of the BJP candidates and to ensure maximum voting every activist has to knock the doors of every single voter to contribute for making BJP win with thumping majority.

Surjeet Singh Salathia said that the BJP has an experienced cadre and is well versed in election management related homework, which is going to prove of great help. He said that the BJP has already taken lead in announcing its candidates and opening of election offices, which will obviously prove to be a plus point in comparison with the other parties.

The meeting was attended by all the Convenors and Co-Convenors of all the departments of Jammu-Reasi Parliamentary Election Management Committee.
