BJP holds Janata darbar at party headquarters
Bharatiya Janata Party, Jammu & Kashmir held a Janata Darbar at its state headquarters, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu, in which its senior leaders impressed for the release of all dues of JKPCC retirees, among other issues.
BJP senior leaders Ashwani Sharma, former MLA, Prof Gharu Ram, DDC, Ch Vikram Randhawa, former MLC, Jeet Angral, former JMC Chairperson, and Er TK Sharma, Co-convenor Swachh Bharat Abhiyan listened to the public grievances in the Janta Darbar.
Numerous people and deputations from Krishna Nagar, Last Morh Gandhi Nagar, Fatehpur Camp RS Pura, Talab Tillo, Gangyal Garden, Colonel Colony opposite Airport, Old Jammu University, Trikuta Nagar, Sangral Suchetgarh, Valmiki Colony Gandhi Nagar, Janipur colony, Poonch, Roop Nagar, Jeevan Nagar, Nai Basti Narwal, Gandu Di Chawni, Nanak Nagar, Laswada Bishnah, Muthi, Chohala RS Pura, and other areas.
A deputation of JKPCC retirees requested the BJP leaders to press for the release of gratuity, pension and other benefits. They said that now after their retirement, they are falling short of money even for their basic needs due to the apathy of the administration.
Other deputations presented the issues like ceiling of Khokhas, upgradation of power station, clearance of deep drain, tile work of left over lane, plugging of water pipe leakages, installation/ replacement of transformers, construction of lanes/drains, erratic power supply, shifting of electric poles, etc.
Ashwani Sharma said that the party leaders and the cadre is consistently engaged in sorting out the public issues on the ground level.
Prof Gharu Ram stated that through this darbar, the party has extended its effort to provide good governance at the door steps of the masses.
Vikram Randhawa said that the common people have many of their day-to-day issues and this darbar has provided them the access to sort them out.
Jeet Angral stated that the party is committed to serve the people in need.
TK Sharma shared that more than 30 deputations visited the party headquarter.
