BJP Jhuggi-Jhopdi Sampark Abhiyan team holds meeting
JAMMU, March 23: Jhuggi-Jhopdi Sampark Abhiyan team under J&K BJP State Election Management Committee led by its convenor Jeet Angral held a meeting in the party headquarter, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.
Dr. Devinder Kumar Manyal, General Secretary J&K BJP, Priya Sethi, former minister, Prem Dogra state co-convenor, Gurmeet Randhawa and Ajay Gupta addressed the meetings.
Dr. Devinder Kumar Manyal, while addressing the meeting, stressed upon the party leaders to meet with the Pravasi families living in Jammu and Kashmir. He asked the party leaders to apprise all the Pravasi families living in their designated as well as nearby areas of all the achievements of the Modi government. He asked them to seek support of the Pravasi families to and to cast their votes in favour of the BJP candidates in order to further strengthen the nation and to improve the socio-economic conditions of the poor and the needy. He also asked the party leaders to follow the guide lines of the election commission while conducting these meetings
Priya Sethi, in her address, shared various methods to work with coordination with the Pravasi families in the run up to the Parliament elections. She asked them to visit every are inhabited by the labour class in their areas. She impressed upon the members to plan their timing according to their suitability. She also asked to organize the Nukkad Sabha, Choti Baithak, Ghar-Ghar Sampark, Labharthi Sampark, in the localities around them.
Jeet Angral impressed on the team members to gear up the work in speedy manner, reach to the people in their respective areas in their Abhiyan which is going to be started from 26 March to 31 March. The committees of the parliamentary Lok Sabha constituencies, Jammu-Reasi and Udhampur-Kathua have been framed in consultation with the high command. The members have been nominated in all the Vidhan Sabha (Assemblies), he shared.
