BJP KDD organizes Varishth Karyakarta Sammelan

Jammu June 10 : Bharatiya Janata Party, Kashmir Displaced District (KDD) organized “Varisht Karyakarta Sammelan” under the leadership of its President Chand Jee Bhat at Community Hall TRT Muthi in Durga Mandal.

On this occasion, former MP Shamsher Singh Manhas was the Chief Guest and District Prabhari Rajeev Charak was the guest of honour, while Prof. G.L. Koul Presided over the Program.

Shamsher Singh Manhas exhorted the party workers to extend the message of the achievements of the 9 years rule of Modi government to masses and explain to the people the virtues of public welfare schemes. He asked them to spare some time every day in the service of the Nation. He praised the Kashmiri Pandits as an intellectual community, and they know the benefits of the policies of the Modi government for the society and nation.

Rajeev Charak said that today we see all-round development in the whole region. It is not only opposition parties but also our adversaries in foreign countries who are perturbed by this development in India less than 9 years of Modi Govt. He said that the public welfare policies of the Modi Government have changed the life of people of India.

In his presidential address, Chand Jee Bhat apprised the veteran party workers about the achievements of 9 years rule of Modi Government. He highlighted achievements like two AIIMSs, two IIMs, IIT, Medical Colleges in every sub region, 6 lane National Highway from Lakhanpur to Srinagar & Rajouri-Poonch, highest Railway Bridge in Reasi, Ring Road, Trupti Balaji Mandir, restoration & renovations of temples & shrines in kashmir, last but not least the abrogation of Art.370 & 35A.

Prof. G.L. Koul  said nowadays Indians are living a life of honour & dignity ,not  life of beggars ,as we not only self-sufficient in food grains but also export the food items to other countries &  the country under Modi Ji has become a 3 Trllion economy. He also raised the issue of enhanced  monthly cash assistance to eligible deserving displaced families.

Rakesh Sadhu conducted the proceedings of the program. The programme started with lighting of the traditional lamp by the Chief Guest Shamsher Singh accompanied by the other dignitaries, followed by singing of organizational song by Smt. Vijay Bhat.

Earlier, the Durga Mandal President Bhushan Lal Raina delivered the Welcome address and he called the veteran party workers for the felicitation by the Chief Guest. Moti Lal Bhat, District General Secretary presented the vote of thanks.
