JAMMU August 24 : Rattan Lal Gupta, Provincial President of the Jammu and Kashmir National Conference (JKNC), In a statement issued here today, Strongly condemned and refuted the Press Conference of BJP in which they have alleged false narrative against the reservation issues of Dailit, Gujjar- Bakerwal, Phari, OBC, Gaddi and other depressed communities referring to the Manifesto of JKNC issued for the betterment of the people of J&K for forth coming Assembly elections. “Our party has always fought for the rights of the depressed and marginalized classes in Jammu and Kashmir. We stand firmly by our commitment to ensuring their welfare and progress. Any misinformation suggesting otherwise is nothing but a desperate attempt by BJP to create confusion among the people,” he asserted.

Rattan Lal emphasized that the National Conference has never compromised on the identity of Jammu and Kashmir. “It was the BJP, not us, that bifurcated a full-fledged state into two Union Territories, stripping away our historical status and pride,” he said.
