BJP organizes Media Workshop ahead of Lok Sabha polls

Jammu and Kashmir 10 Jan: In the run up for the scheduled general elections 2024, J&K BJP Media Department organized a 1-day media workshop at party headquarter, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu, which was attended by about one hundred party leaders associated directly with the media activists from across Jammu & Kashmir.

J&K BJP president Ravinder Raina, BJP National Spokesperson Sardar R.P. Singh, MP Jugal Kishore Sharma, former deputy CM Kavinder Gupta, former minister Sat Sharma, BJP Chief Spokesperson Sunil Sethi and BJP Media Incharge Dr. Pardeep Mahotra were present on the stage.

BJP senior leaders, party State Spokespersons, Media Incharges & spokespersons of Morcha and district participated in this workshop.

BJP National Spokesperson Sardar RP Singh discussed the preparation and the conduct of spokespersons during media interactions in TV debates and social media platforms, in which he touched on many important points and said that the party leaders dealing with the media should be well informed about the day-to-day developments. He said that they must have full research work on the programmes and policies of the government and set a positive narrative to defeat the false propaganda of other parties.

BJP President Ravinder Raina said that media is an important medium of reaching the people to present viewpoints of the party on various issues, share details of the achievements of the government and also create a positive image of the party. He said that a spokesperson holds a very important responsibility to present the party in the media through press notes, debates on electronic channels and social media.

BJP General Secretary (org) Ashok Koul said that the BJP cadre works with an ideology of nation first, party second and self last. Every leader of the party, particularly those associated with the media department and the spokespersons have to get them well acquainted with the party ideology and speak with the authentic data and information.

BJP General Secretary Vibodh Gupta said that the list of the achievements of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is very long, as the Modi government has created history by initiating a large number of mega development projects and welfare schemes.

BJP general secretary Dr. Devinder Manyal spoke on the preparations by the media associated with party leaders in view of the upcoming Lok Sabha election preparation, stressing on the prominent role of media in the present era.

BJP Spokesperson Brig. Anil Gupta spoke on the exemplary leadership of PM Modi and his distinction of being a leader with honesty, dedication, commitment to serve the nation and people.

BJP Chief Spokesperson Sunil Sethi spoke in detail about the media, management of media affairs. He said that proper knowledge is a fuel for better working as media Incharges and spokespersons.

BJP Spokesperson RS Pathania discussed threadbare various points to improve the coordination between the media and social media platforms of the party.

BJP Media Incharge Dr. Pardeep Mahotra earlier delivered the welcome note and conducted the proceedings of the workshop and BJP Spokesperson Arun Gupta presented vote of thanks. Former VC Balbir Ram Rattan and Sanjay Bakshi helped in the conduct of the workshop.
