BJP organizes Swachh Bharat programs to promote cleanliness
J&K 1 Oct:- Encouraged by the appeal of Prime Minister Narendra Modi for a collective effort to make Bharat clean, the cadre of J&K BJP took part in Swachh Bharat campaign by launching “Swachh Bharat Abhiyan” in the entire region of Jammu and Kashmir.
Entire cadre of J&K BJP including the senior leaders, public representatives up to Booth level activists also took an oath for the fulfillment of the mission ‘Swachh Bharat’ and ensured their contribution towards the cleanliness of the surroundings.
J&K BJP President Ravinder Raina led the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan in Bahu Fort and other areas. Speaking on the occasion, he stressed to create awareness among masses for keeping the streets, water bodies and rivers clean from dirt and garbage. He asked the party cadre to inculcate the spirit of hygiene, cleanliness and avert themselves from unhygienic conditions. He also encouraged them to motivate people regarding cleanliness and sanitation of their surroundings.
General Secretary (Org.) BJP J&K, Ashok Koul led the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan in Ladakh. Stressing that Swachh Bharat Abhiyan is an awakening of our inner spirit and connecting with our surrounding forces, he said that Swachh Bharat Abhiyan is changing the face of Bharat and in the days to come our country would stand out as one of the cleanest countries in the world.
General secretary BJP J&K, Vibodh Gupta carried out “Swacchta hi Seva” Campaign in the premises of Rajiv Gandhi Hospital, Gangyal. He said that a clean garbage-free Bharat is our aim and together we shall achieve it. Under PM Modi ji’s leadership, people across India are joining the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan turning it into a Jan Andolan.
General secretary BJP J&K, Dr. Devinder Kumar Manyal carried out Swachh Bharat Abhiyan in Samba District. He said that the cleanliness is similar to Godliness and hence we all must make it our basic habit to keep our surroundings clean on a daily basis.
BJP NEM Priya Sethi carried out the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan in Janana Park, Jammu. She said that a clean environment also leads to the development of a clean mind and good thoughts.
