BJP pays floral tributes to Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev, Rajguru

JAMMU, March 23: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Jammu & Kashmir, commemorated the martyr day of Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev and Rajguru and paid floral tributes to them in a programme held at party headquarter, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.

Former Dy. Chief Minister Kavinder Gupta accompanied by BJP NEM Priya Sethi and other senior party leaders remembered the life full of struggle of the youth icons.

Tilak Raj Gupta, Rajiv Charak, Rajni Sethi, Balbir Ram Rattan, Dr. Pardeep Mahotra, Prof. Kulbhushan Mohtra, Jeet Angral, Hansraj Loria, Yashpal Shivgotra, Prerna Nanda, Krishan Kumar Digra, Sanjay Bakshi, Ramesh Katoch, and other leaders also paid tributes to the great revolutionaries on the occasion.

Kavinder Gupta, while paying tributes to the martyrs, said that the trio of Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev and Rajguru have made the supreme sacrifice in the revered feet of Bharat Mata. Their sacrifice, he said, inspired millions of people and fueled the freedom struggle against the British rule. He said that, today, we are able to breathe and roam in free environment, as thousands of these laid down their lives, were butchered mercilessly and innocents including children suffered the inhumane tortures but didn’t buckle up before the atrocities of foreign invaders. We must respect their sacrifices and never forget that they laid down their lives for our freedom, he added.

Priya Sethi, on the occasion, said that our every second of life is indebted to the supreme sacrifices made by these great martyrs. She said that it is our duty to recognize and then fight with any force that even thinks to do any harm to the sovereignty and integrity of our nation.

Other speakers on the occasion spoke on the life events of martyrs Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev and Rajguru, stressing that India will never forget the supreme sacrifices. Speakers added that Nation is the responsibility of the citizens and these great men proved this by sacrificing their lives for the Nation.
