BJP pays tributes to Dr Ambedkar on his birth anniversary across J&K

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Jammu & Kashmir led by its senior party leaders paid floral tributes to Bharat Ratna Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar at various places, as it observed the birth anniversary of the tall leader in Jammu as well as in Kashmir.

J&K BJP President Ravinder Raina accompanied by other senior leaders of the party paid tributes to Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar and said that he undertook the divine task of inducing “Samrasta” in the society. He said that Baba Sahib will remain as a source of inspiration to all of us for centuries and India can never forget his great contributions. He said that Baba Sahib was the chief architect of the Constitution of India, which is the best in the world. Baba Sahib also contributed to the freedom of India as a leading lawyer, whenever he aborted the evil designs of the British, he added.

General Secretary (Org.) Ashok Koul accompanied by district President Gopal Mahajan, ex-MLA Kuldeep Raj, Karan Attri, and others pays tributes at Hiranagar and Kathua. He described Dr Ambedkar as an icon for everybody. He said that Dr. Ambedkar was born in a very ordinary family but he rose to great heights with determination and will. He said that Ambedkar ji always stood by the poor and downtrodden people and was a real social worker. He said that we need to follow the footsteps of Baba Sahib, as he envisioned a new society, free from the caste system and every other evil.

MP (Lok Sabha) Jugal Kishore Sharma, paid tributes to Baba Sahib in Guru Ravi Dass temple in Kadwanda and at Ambedkar Chowk near Railway Station, Jammu.
