BJP pays tributes to Pt Prem Nath Dogra on his birth anniversary

JAMMU, October 24: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Jammu & Kashmir led by its senior leaders, celebrated the birth anniversary of Sher-e-Duggar, Pt. Prem Nath Dogra with great enthusiasm throughout Jammu & Kashmir.

In Jammu, the main programme was organized at the Pt. Prem Nath Dogra Chowk where the BJP leaders performed Hawan and Yagya followed by the garlanding of the statue of Pandit Ji.

Sat Sharma, Working President, J&K BJP accompanied by former Dy. CM Kavinder Gupta, Vice President & MLA Yudhvir Sethi, District President Parmod Kapahi, Mahila Morcha President Sanjita Dogra, and other senior party leaders spoke on the life of Pandit ji.

MLA Arvind Gupta, MLA, former Mayor Rajinder Sharma, Vice-President Aseem Gupta, Secretary Veenu Khanna, Anju Dogra, Ayodhya Gupta, Sanjay Baru, Rajesh Gupta, Kuldeep Kandhari, Puneet Mahajan, Anu Gupta, Sanjay Mahe, Karan Singh, Manav Gupta and others also paid tributes on the occasion.

Sat Sharma paid glowing tributes to Pt Prem Nath Dogra and described him as one of the tallest leaders of the country. He appealed to the party workers to work dedicatedly for the welfare of the people following the example set by Pandit ji. He said Pandit Ji as a mature personality, was equally respected by his opponents as well. While remembering the services of Pandit Ji he said that Pandit ji dedicated his whole life to the upliftment of downtrodden and spent every movement for unity of the J&K with the rest of the country.

Kavinder Gupta said that Pt. Ji was a great soul who was instrumental in leading agitation for the pride of common people. He said that we will spend our last breath in the service of Bharat Mata but will never let forces be inimical to national cause to derail the ongoing peace and development process.

J&K BJP General Secretary (Org.) Ashok Koul paid tributes to Sher-e-Duggar Pt. Prem Nath Dogra Ji on his birth anniversary at Party Office Srinagar, Kashmir. He spoke on the life events of Pandits ji and said that his whole life was dedicated to the welfare of the needy people.

Senior BJP leaders conducted similar programmes across the region to remember the great leader of the soil.
