BJP releases its annual calendar

The Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) Jammu and Kashmir unit has released its annual calendar for the year 2025 at the party headquarters in Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.

The calendar was unveiled by J&K BJP President Sat Sharma CA and General Secretary (organization) Ashok Koul along with General Secretary & MLA Dr. Devinder Kumar Manyal.

Calendar was compiled by the BJP Literature Department Incharge Pawan Sharma, Publication Department Incharge Rajnish Jain, and senior leader S. Vikramjit Singh, who were also present during the release programme along with BJP Office Secretary Tilak Raj Gupta, Media Secretary Dr. Pardeep Mahotra, Vistarak Ashok Kumar and others leaders of the party.

Sat Sharma, while releasing the calendar appreciated the concern of party leaders to bring out the party calendar which apprises the party workers and the general public about the party’s important events in the year. He said that the calendar carries dates of national festivals and the party’s six important festivals. He said that the calendar would be distributed among the party cadre at the ground level so that the festivals of the party would remain in their minds and be celebrated.

Ashok Koul, while sharing the details of the calendar said that it includes Republic Day on January 26, Samarpan divas on the martyr day of Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhayay on February 11, BJP Foundation Day on April 06, Samrasta Divas on April 14, on Dr Ambedkar Jayanti, June 23 as Balidan divas of Dr. Shyama Prasad Mookherjee, the Independence Day on August 15, Maharaja Hari Singh’s birthday on September 23, Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhayay Jayanti on September 25, Mahatma Gandhi Jayanti on October 02, Khel Divas on Pt. Premnath Dogra Jayanti on October 24, J&K’s Accession Day on October 26, and Good Governance Day on Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s Jayanti on September 25.

Pawan Sharma, on this occasion, said that the BJP comes out with its calendar every year. This calendar outlines the party plans and strategies for the year ahead. The calendar is expected to feature key events and programs of the party.

Rajnish Jain shared that the main objective of preparing and releasing the calendar is to keep a ready reference of party’s festivals along with national festivals.

S. Varinderjit Singh said that the calendar would keep reminding the party cadre about the important days to be observed and celebrated as festivals in honour of the great legends.
