BJP SC Morcha undertake ‘Meri Mati Mera Desh’ campaign

JAMMU SEP 6 Jammu and Kashmir Bharatiya Janata Party Anusuchit Jaati Morcha (SC Morcha) under its president Neelam Langeh, collected soil from the ground under the statue of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, as part of the nationwide ‘Meri Mati Mera Desh’ campaign. Neelam Langeh and other scheduled caste leaders also garlanded the statue of Dr. Ambedkar as a taken of respect and tribute to the architect of the constitution of India.

Neelam Langeh, on this occasion, said that under the leadership of the Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi, series of programmes are being organised under ‘Meri Mati Mera Desh’ campaign and as per the instructions of party’s national president Jagat Prakash Nadda, the BJP activists across the country, are collecting soil from the houses of martyrs and the prominent people as well. This soil will be sent to Kartavya Path, New Delhi.

Neelam Langeh further said that in Jammu and Kashmir also, BJP, the parent body and its all morches and cells leaders are undertaking the campaign in every area of the UT, they are visiting every home to collect the soil, which is kept in a kalash and later to be sent to New Delhi. Besides this Kalash Yatra, programmes like Amrit Vatika, Palcing Shila, Panch Prana, are being covered under ‘Meri Mati Mera Desh’ campaign, he said.

Prominent among those who took part in this campaign included former VC Balbir Ram Rattan, SC Morcha Vice-Presidents B.R. Rao, Seema Devi and Vijay Anand, General Secretary Adarsh Kumar Jethiar, Secretary Raj Kumar Bhagat, Office Secretary Hans Raj Loria, Spokesperson Krishan Kumar Digra, SC Morcha Executive Members Naresh Bhagat, Lokesh Kumar Bhagat and Sham Lal.
