BJP Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan team conducts cleanliness drive at Maha Maya Mata Temple

JAMMU, March 27: In continuation with its Swachta Abhiyaan program, BJP Swachh Bharat team launched it’s cleanliness drive during Navratras at Maha Maya Mata Temple.

A large number of volunteers of BJP Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan cleaned the premises of the Maha Maya Mata temple. The drive was led by Er Dil Bahadur Singh and Er. T.K. Sharma BJP’s Incharge and Co-incharge of Swachh Bharat  Abhiyaan.

While speaking on the occasion Er Dil Bahadur Singh congratulated the people on Navratras and asked the general public to keep their surroundings neat and clean. He also said that their cleanliness drive was started from Bawe wali Mata and today they are at Maha Maya Mata temple for the cleanliness drive he requested everyone to cooperate for clean and green Jammu.

He further said that we should stop use of plastic and polythene and contribute to noble cause.

While speaking on the occasion, Er. T.K. Sharma said that each one of us should come forward  to give 100 hours per year SHRAMDHAN for this noble cause to make Jammu and Kashmir UT neat and clean. He further said if our UT  becomes clean and green it will enhance the tourism which will further contribute to the economy of the country. He also said that we often feel humiliated when we see the ugly pictures  of our UT, so it is the right time everyone should come forward to do a little bit of cleanliness drive for their part.

Randeep Singh Parihar Co-incharge Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan also participated while speaking on the occasion he requested to the honourable mayor of Jammu municipal corporation to get all the water tanks clean, which are installed at water coolers of JMC.

Er. V.K. Gupta, convener Jammu east Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan and Bharat Bhushan Sharma, convener Jammu south Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan, Er. S.k. Zailpuri and large number of volunteers participated in the Abhiyaan.
