BJP to organize historic Ekatma Mahotsav Rally at RS Pura on 05 August: Vibodh

Vibodh highlights J&K’s Progress post abrogation of Article 370, 35A

JAMMU Aug 03: BJP will organize the ‘Ekatma Mahotsav Rally’ on August 5, 2024 at Bana Singh Stadium, RS Pura to commemorate the complete unification of Jammu & Kashmir with the rest of India, said BJP J&K General Secretary and Former MLC Adv. Vibodh Gupta while addressing a Press Conference at BJP headquarters, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu. Ch. Vikram Randhawa, former MLC, Baldev Singh Billawaria, former JMC Dy Mayor, Rekha Mahajan, District President, Er TK Sharma, Co-convenor Swachh Bharat Abhiyan also accompanied Vibodh Gupta on the occasion.

“The day of August 5, 2019 is very important day in our lives. On this vital day 5 years back, a historic blunder was corrected and we, the people of Jammu & Kashmir, united completely with the rest of India, and are now able to enjoy all the rights, and the liberties and are progressing on the path of development”, said Vibodh Gupta.

Vibodh Gupta, while addressing the media persons said that on this day, “Ek Vidhan, Ek Nishan, Ek Pradhan” mission of the party was fulfilled in letter and spirit. This day essentially granted all the rights to the neglected and the oppressed communities like PoJK displaced, WPRs, Gujjar-Bakerwal, Paharis, OBCs, Valmikis, Gorkhas, which were denied justice for 7 decades. After decisive steps by Modi government, these communities were given citizenship rights, their wards could get admission in professional college, could get government jobs, proprietary rights on lands etc. 

He said that this day boosted development in the region mentioning Ring roads, tunnels, highways, medical colleges, 3 tier system of political empowerment giving major boost to infrastructure development.

Vibodh said that now the Tiranga is being hoisted in every corner in the state, Maharaja Hari Singh ji is paid respect, Accession Day, the birthday of Maharaja Hari Singh are being celebrated on a mass scale and the stone pelting, and separatism have reduced significantly, due to the abrogation of Articles 370 & 35 (a). He also lauded the historic decision by the LG administration, in which it granted proprietary rights to the WPRs. He thanked PM Modi, HM Amit Shah, and LG administration for doing justice with the community.

Vibodh Gupta further said that BJP will organize ‘Ekatma Mahotsav Rally’ on August 5, 2024 at Bana Singh Stadium, RS Pura to commemorate the complete unification of Jammu & Kashmir with the rest of India.

The people from mainly 3 Assembly Constituencies namely Suchetgarh, RS Pura, and Bishnah will participate in this massive rally. BJP appeals to the people from whole of Jammu to participate in massive numbers in this rally, he said.
