JAMMU, March 21: In a public gathering organized at Manjakote, BJP J&K General Secretary and former MLC Vibodh Gupta confidently proclaimed that like Gupkar alliance, the INDI alliance is also destined to fail as they are driven solely by self-interest. He reiterated BJP’s popularity, predicting a comfortable victory with over 400 seats in the upcoming parliamentary elections.
Vibodh emphasized that “Abki Baar 400 Paar (This time, 400-plus seats)” is not merely a slogan but a resolve that will be scripted into reality with the help of dedicated BJP workers and the support of the people. He praised the Modi government’s initiatives, including women empowerment (33 per cent reservation for women in state assemblies and Parliament), opportunities for youth through programs like Skill India and Startup India, and the bold decision to revoke Article 370, which he believes has paved the way for Jammu and Kashmir’s development.
Vibodh stressed that the Modi government prioritizes the welfare of Jammu and Kashmir’s people, citing significant progress since 2014, especially after the historic abrogation of Article 370. He highlighted advancements in grassroots democracy, socio-political rights for tribal communities, opportunities for youth, opening up of national institutions such as IITs, IIMs, AIIMS, IIMC. Moreover, he credited the Modi government with ushering in a new era of peace and development, liberating the UT from terrorism, militancy, underdevelopment, and dynastic politics.
Speaking on the occasion, BJP District President Dinesh Sharma also underscored various achievements of the Modi government and expressed optimism for the party’s future endeavors. He maintained that BJP is committed to nation’s prosperity, their visionary leadership embodies the values of integrity, innovation, and service, resonating with citizens across the country.
