BJPMM organised workshop on ‘Kamal Mitra’

October 08: In the run-up to the 2024 general elections, Jammu and Kashmir BJP Mahila Morcha (BJPMM)had launched ‘Kamal Mitra’ programme in the UT in the month of May’23.

Now in continuation to that, workshops are being organised in each state/UT.

In this regard, one day workshop was inaugurated and addressed by Mahila Morcha National Media Secretary and Incharge ‘Kamal Mitra’ programme, Neetu Dabas, at BJP headquarter Jammu on Sunday.

In her address, Neetu Dabas, said that the one-day trainers training workshop on women centric schemes is for various women to brief them on the schemes for women launched by Modi government and how they can reach out to women folk.

It is important to connect the common citizens through such initiatives. We are looking at reaching out to atleast one lakh such women potential beneficiaries who we will try to get benefits of central government schemes across all the Lok Sabha constituencies.

She added that through this programme, women volunteers on the ground will help locals understand the purposes of these central government schemes and they will also help the identified beneficiaries with all processes about applying for schemes

 like Ujjwala Yojana, PM Awas Yojana, to name a few.For Kamal Mitra, an online syllabus has already been prepared about how to achieve this. In the first phase, the party has taken 15 schemes which are connected  to women schemes.

Apart from this, she added that women who work for the welfare of society can also take training and can serve society through Kamal Mitra.

She engaged women karyakartas in a practice session and helped them develop the skills required for completing an  examination by providing examples . The workshop concluded with an interactive question and answer session where mahila Karyakarta clarified their doubts and shared their insights.

Mahila Morcha, J&K president Sanjita Dogra said that BJP does not work only for elections, but always remains connected with the society and works for its welfare. Prime Minister Narendra Modi always talks about the empowerment of women, saying that women should advance in every field because the party believe that the development of society is possible only with the development of women.

Prerna Nanda, J&K Incharge for the programme, presented details related to this programne. She informed that against the target of 2000, more than 4000 women got themselves registered through online mode and till now two training phases have been completed successfully.
