BJP’s Social Media Wing Sets Up Srinagar Office,

Amplifying Truthful Narratives in Naya Kashmir: Ashok Koul

Srinagar: Ashok Koul, General Secretary (Organization), Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Jammu & Kashmir inaugurated party’s social media office in Srinagar.

The inauguration event witnessed the presence of esteemed party leaders, including former MLC Surender Ambardar, BJP Spokesperson & social media Prabhari Thakur Abhijeet Singh Jasrotia, Bilal Ah Parray, Sajid Yousf, Mohammed Iqbal Wani, Sheikh Salman, Raja Arif, Sahil Bashir Bhat Tiger G M Sheikh and many others. Their collective participation underlined the commitment of the JK BJP unit to foster a robust and transparent communication network that showcases the true essence of Naya Kashmir.

Ashok Koul, while inaugurating the office said that social media has played a pivotal role in the return of normalcy to Kashmir stressing that its role as a fourth pillar was key to success. Ashok Koul went one step ahead & said that this is office of entire media fraternity for the cause of Kashmir & the nationalist party stands with them. Through all this journey for a peaceful and progressed region, Social Media has been amplifying truthful narratives in Naya Kashmir, added Ashok Koul.

“The establishment of the new Social Media Office marks a significant milestone in the JK BJP’s efforts to empower social media platforms to shape narratives based on truth and dispel misinformation. This initiative is expected to strengthen the bond between the party and the people of Jammu and Kashmir, while also fostering an inclusive digital space for constructive discussions and progress”, said Ashok Koul.

Abhijeet Singh Jasrotia, while addressing the media, emphasized the growing influence of social media in disseminating the truth. He highlighted its pivotal role in revealing the reality during the turbulent period when the “Paradise on Earth” bore witness to the sinister agenda of anti-national elements. Since the transformative events of August 5, 2019, the new era of Naya Kashmir has emerged, and media, particularly social media, has played a crucial role in unearthing the truths. He emphasized that, once again, it is the responsibility of the media, especially social media, to circulate accurate and authentic portrayals of Naya Kashmir.
