BKS felicitates of team of Dogri Film Mouj Masti
JAMMU, April 14: In a simple but impressive function organised by Bhartiya Kala Sangam today felicitated the team of Dogri Film Mouj Masti including Producer, Actors, Director in the premises of KC Theatre.
In this function, Sohail Kazmi Sr. Journalist was Chief Guest whereas T. R. Sharma, KAS (Retd) was Guest of Honour and Romesh Singh Chib, Director Bhartiya Kala Sangam hosted the function.
Addressing the press, Sohail Kazmi congratulated the team of Dogri Film Mouj Masti being screened at KC PVR, Jammu. The Dogra culture and its heritages are the backbone of Dogra land, he said, adding that local film producers and actors are talented enough to make much more good and attractive movies in dogri language. He asked the artists fraternity to come on one platform and jointly fight for its cause of making films with handsome financial assistance from the sources other than spending huge money from their pockets.
Making such films shall go a long way to strengthen the roots of Dogri language and keep the young generation deeply connected with its roots through the mediam of film presentations,he added.
Earlier welcoming the audience, T. R. Sharma informed that BKS decided to honour the team of film Mouj Masti in the presence of press media for spreading the message of newly made Dogri Film in every nook and corner of Jammu and Kashmir through electronic and print media . He disclosed that chief aim and objective of BKS is to encourage and honour the artists fraternity squarely dedicated to elevate the graph of Dogra Culture.
Romesh Singh Chib also spoke and advocated the need of allowing screening of Dogri films tax free by the Government.
He appealed the public of Jammu to come one and all to witness the dogri movie which has been extended next week as well for screening in KC PVR, Jammu and from April 18th, Mouj Masti shall be screened at V2V Mall in Ludhiana.
Earlier Heeramani Singh Director of Film, Parvez Mir, Producer/Actor Rakesh Chalotra, Producer/Actor, Vinod Jaral, Producer, Script Writer, Rajeshwar Singh Raju were honored by presenting them Mata Ki Chunies by Bhartiya Kala Sangam.
