Blind attempt to murder case solved, accused persons arrested: Reasi Police
REASI , March 03 : Reasi Police arrested accused persons and solved a blind attempt to murder case wherein attempt was made on the life of teacher namely Mohd Ashraf S/O Noor Hussain Caste Gujjar R/O Matlote Tehsil Thuroo A/P Geeta Nagar Reasi posted at Govt. Middle School Jhandi and who was performing his duty as examiner at Govt. High School Panassa in jurisdiction of PS Arnas.
The complaint was received at PS Arnas wherein it was stated that after conducting the examination, he was on his way to Reasi for depositing the answer sheets, but when he reached near Shiv Mandir Thanpal in Arnas, two unknown persons wearing masks and driving a motor cycle stopped him and attacked him with iron rod and fled away from the spot after commission of crime. On this a case FIR No. 144/22 U/S 307/353/ 332/ 341/506/34 IPC P/S Arnas got registered against the unknown accused persons and sensing gravity of the crime, special investigation teams were framed by Amit Gupta SSP Reasi to identify the accused persons and apprehend the absconding criminals.
The teams with the help of technical surveillance unit of district police succeeded in identifying the motorcycle and unknown accused persons and simultaneous raids were conducted by the teams of Reasi police and accused persons namely Sachin Singh @ sachu S/O Balbir Singh R/O Thanpal Tehsil Thakrakote; Manbir Singh @Bantu S/O Balbir Singh R/O Salal Tehsil and District Reasi have been apprehended. The case was worked out and accused arrested after strenuous efforts by teams headed by SDPO Arnas Pritpal singh and Insp Jeet Singh SHO Arnas and Inspr Nishant Gupta SHO Katra. Whole operation was supervised by Amit Gupta SSP Reasi.
SSP Reasi expressed that such barbaric act done by anti social and criminal elements have no place in the civilised society and anyone involved in commission of such type of offences will not be spared and further stressed that investigation shall incorporate each and every evidence to ensure justice is done in this heinous act of crime at an earliest.
