Block Diwas: ADDC Shopian conducts Public Outreach programme at Keller

SHOPIAN, January 18: The Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Shopian, Manzoor Hussain today visited Block Keller of Shopian and held a weekly public outreach programme there to take firsthand review of public issues.

 During the public outreach programme, PRI members and general public flagged-off several issues of their concerned areas for redressal.

The ADDC listened to the demands and issues patiently raised during the block diwas programme and assured that all their genuine issues would be addressed in a time bound manner.

ADDC exhorted the general public and public representatives to work in tandem with the line departments for effective execution and monitoring of the schemes.

While interacting with the PRIs and general public of the area, the ADDC said that such platforms enable the District Administration to know the problems being faced by the people. He asked the officers to inform the people about income generating and beneficiary oriented schemes launched by the Government of India and UT Government.

Among others, the programme was attended by several district officers, BDO Keller, and a large number of people and PRI members of Panchayat Keller.
