Block Diwas organised at 13 venues across Kishtwar

Kisan Sampark Abhiyan sessions held to promote HADP


KISHTWAR, JULY 03: The weekly (Block Diwas) outreach events were held here today at 13 panchayats across all the blocks of district Kishtwar.
Deputy Commissioner Dr. Devansh Yadav along with other senior and district officers from the District Administration presided over the Super Wednesday (Block Diwas) and ensured the best proceedings of the day. This included special sessions for Kisan Sampark Abhiyan 3.0, HADP schemes, Daksh Kisan, and other centrally sponsored schemes.


DC Kishtwar presided over the Block Diwas (Super Wednesday) at Filler Panchayat of Block Thakraie.
Besides, ADC Kishtwar at Block Trigam, ACR Kishtwar at Block Kishtwar, ACD Kishtwar at Drabshalla and other designated officers from District Administration Kishtwar, including SDMs, Tehsildars presided over the events and the Department of Agriculture and Allied sectors, were present at the scheduled venues to attend the programmes.
Presiding officers took detailed notes of the proceedings and progress achieved during Super Wednesday (Block Diwas). Additionally, the grievances of people and farmers were listened to and addressed by the presiding officers as a part of Super Wednesday.
It is pertinent to mention that the Kisan Sampark Abhiyan 3.0, under the Holistic Agriculture Development Programme (HADP), was launched today in various panchayats of the 13 blocks of Kishtwar District. The Abhiyan was launched under the instructions and overall guidance of Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar Dr. Devansh Yadav, who is also Chairman of HADP, and under the close supervision of the Director of Agriculture Jammu, who is also the Supervisory Officer of the programme.
The purpose of Kisan Sampark Abhiyan 3.0 is to increase awareness regarding the Holistic Agriculture Development Programme and expedite the implementation of projects under HADP for the welfare of the farming community. The training was conducted simultaneously at 13 locations in the district. Farmers received training from resource persons of agriculture and allied departments through various audio-visual aids. A baseline survey is being conducted by the skill gap study person of the farmers who attended the training programme. Officers and officials of allied departments, along with a large number of farmers, participated in the training programme.
District Nodal Officer HADP, Chief Agriculture Officer Kishtwar, Amjad Hussain Malik coordinated the programmes.
During KSA 3.0, special focus was laid on the awareness of credit-linked schemes and the purpose of opening Kisan Khidmat Ghars (KKGs) in various panchayats in Collab with Bankers.
Nodal officer called upon all stakeholders to come together to ensure the effective implementation of a holistic agriculture development plan.
District Administration Kishtwar extended full support to ensure the maximum success of Kisan Sampark Abhiyan 3.0, including the dissemination of detailed information to the farming community regarding HADP schemes, Daksh Kisan, and other centrally sponsored schemes.
