Block Diwas Programmes held in Doda to redress public issues

DODA JULY 31: District Development Commissioner Doda, Harvinder Singh presided over a Block Diwas Programme, held at HSS Boys Bhaderwah.
The event saw enthusiastic participation from the public, who raised their grievances and were informed about various welfare schemes.


The DDC emphasized the importance of transparent governance and committed to resolving public issues efficiently. Directions were given to ensure timely redressal of concerns and effective implementation of welfare schemes.
Sub-divisional Block Diwas Programmes were also held in Assar, Gandoh, and Thathri.


At Assar, the programme included interactive sessions where the public voiced their concerns, and the SDM provided detailed information on ongoing and upcoming welfare schemes. In Gandoh, the event focused on addressing local infrastructure issues, with the SDM directing officials to expedite development projects. The Thathri event, attended by a large gathering, highlighted the need for better healthcare facilities, with the SDM assuring the public of improved medical services.


Throughout the Block Diwas Programme, the public had the opportunity to directly engage with the administration, ensuring their issues were heard and addressed. Detailed presentations on various individual and community welfare schemes were provided, helping the public understand and benefit from these initiatives. Participants were encouraged to give feedback and suggestions for improving governance and the effective implementation of schemes.
