Block level Mitti Yatra organised amid grand celebrations  at Bhalla

 DC, SSP, Families of Martyrs, besides numerous Civil and Police functionaries participated

DODA, October 08: Block Level Mitti Yatra was organised today  at Trown Panchayat of block Bhalla amid  a grand celebration.

The event was held in the  presence of Deputy Commissioner (DC), Vishesh Paul Mahajan, SSP Abdul Qayoom, Bharat Singh, Secratary J&K Academy of Art Culture & Languages, Pankaj Katoch, Additional Commissioner in Divisional Commissioner Office Jammu, ACD Doda Phulail Singh, Mahesh Chander BDO Bhalla, Families of Martyrs, other   officers from civil, police administration, and PRIs of Block Bhalla were also present.

While speaking on the occasion, the DC Doda highlighted the significance of the nationwide campaign which aims to pay a tribute to the national and local heroes who had laid down their lives in the line of duty for the motherland.

He urged the people of the  district to participate in the event in their areas  scheduled to be held in the coming days and to become the part of this noble initiative.

Meanwhile, a series of patriotic programmes were organized by the Educational Department and Culture Department.
