Bootlegger apprehended in Srinagar; 800 bottles Codeine Phosphate seized

SRINAGAR, 20 June: In a major crackdown, Srinagar Police arrested a bootlegger with a huge consignment of 800 bottles containing Codeine Phosphate during a Naka on Tuesday.

A case under the relevant section of law has been registered and further investigation is being taken up.

During Naka checking at Chanpura, a Scorpio JK01AL 7786 fled from naka & was intercepted. During search, 800 bottles containing Codeine phosphate were recovered.
