Bovines smuggling bid foiled, 2 vehicles seized in Reasi’s Jyotipuram

REASI, 3 January 2024: Continuing the special drive against the bovine smugglers, Reasi Police foiled bovine smuggling at Jyotipuram on Wednesday.

During Naka checking at Jyotipuram, 2 vehicles bearing registration number JK02BP-3875 driven by Mohd Aslam S/O Makhan Din R/O Darmari, tehsil Thuroo, district Reasi alongwith Abrar Hussain S/O Mohd Munshi R/O Darmari Tehsil Arnas District Reasi was intercepted for checking and found 2 bovine animals and JK20B-6569 driven by driver namely Mohd Javed S/O Mohd Abdullah R/O Malai Mahore and Abrar Hussain S/O Mohd Munshi R/O Darmari Tehsil Arnas District Reasi was intercepted for checking and found 2 bovine animals, which were being transported illegally without DM permission.

In this cognizance taken and two FIR’s Registered as Case FIR number 02/2024 under Section 188/IPC 11PC Act at PS Reasi and FIR number 03/2024 under Section 188/IPC 11PC Act at PS Reasi, vehicles were seized and investigation started.

Pertinently Reasi Police under the supervision SSP Reasi established zero tolerance towards Bovines Smuggling and is committed to eradicating the menace of Bovine Smuggling from the district.
