Brigadier Kalsi interacts with NCC cadets at SPMR College of Commerce
JAMMU, April 17: Brigadier Kuldeep Singh Kalsi, the NCC Group Commander Srinagar, visited the Government SPMR College of Commerce Jammu to interact with the cadets and ANOs of 1 J&K Naval Unit Srinagar. ANOs from all the institutes of 1 J&K Naval Unit Srinagar received him on his arrival at the college.
Dr. Surinder Sharma, the college’s principal, presented a floral bouquet to the brigadier and briefed him on various NCC activities and other matters related to NCC.
Later, the Brigadier interacted with approximately 140 NCC cadets from different schools and colleges under 1 J&K Naval Unit Srinagar.
In his address, the Group Commander praised the cadets for their high standards of physical and mental fitness, as well as their dedication. He also informed them about the numerous opportunities that NCC provides for personal growth and personality development, and urged them to make the most of it, aspire high, choose the path of growth, and become responsible citizens of the country.
He stressed upon the inclusion of skill course into the NCC. Afterward, the Group Commander had separate discussions with all the ANOs over a cup of tea to hear their issues and feedback for the betterment of the cadets. In the end vote of thanks was presented by Sub Lieutenant Joginder Kumar (ANO) of the College followed by the refreshments to all the cadets.
