Burglary Case Solved: 940 gm Gold, Diamond ornaments; cash Rs 5.5 lakh, items worth Rs 1 crore recovered in Jammu

JAMMU, 22 May 2023: The burglary case was solved and the stolen Gold, Diamond ornaments weighing about 940 grams, cash Rs 5,57,500/- along with some other items worth Rs 1 crore recovered by PS Bahu Fort Jammu. 1 thief was arrested in this regard on Monday.

A complaint was lodged at PS Bahu Fort by one person namely Rajesh Jain R/O H. No. 89-P Sector 9, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu stating that some unknown thieves entered his house and stole gold and diamond ornaments alongwith some cash and other items worth Rs 1 crore.

On this, a case got registered at PS Bahu Fort and the investigation started.

After this special police teams of PS Bahu Fort did strenuous efforts and with the help of CCTV footage of the area finally rounded up the suspected person Sabir R/O Raipura Thalliya, district Behriach UP A/P Malik Market Jammu.

During questioning accused confessed his involvement in the above case and on his disclosure stolen gold/diamond ornaments weighing around 940 Grams cash Rs. 5,57,500/- alongwith some other items worth Rs 1 crore were recovered from his possession.
