Cabinet Minister Satish Sharma Inaugurates New Sports Facilities at KC Public School And KC Sports Club

The sports complexes of KC Public School and KC Sports Club offer a complete range of world class indoor and outdoor games and sports facilities that include Cricket, Football, Basketball, Net Ball, Volleyball, Lawn Tennis, Badminton, Table Tennis, Squash and swimming.

Two ultra-modern games facilities were added to this range today afternoon when Shri Satish Sharma, Cabinet Minister, Government of J&K inaugurated four new Pickleball courts at KC Public School and one outdoor Box Cricket arena at KC Sports Club. These two games have gained incredible popularity in the entire world today in terms of space requirements and the paucity of it in large metropoles, cities and towns all over the world.

The inauguration ceremonies at both these venues were witnessed by a large gathering of distinguished dignitaries such as Shri Anil Goswami, IAS, Ex Home Secretary, Govt of India and Shri SS Wazir, Additional Director General,  Govt of Jammu & Kashmir. Hundreds of sports enthusiasts and students and staff of both KC Public School and KC Sports Club including students and staff of Rajmata Krishna Kumari Girls’ Public School, Jodhpur, Rajasthan, who are in Jammu on a cultural exchange visit to KC Public School, attended these inauguration ceremonies.

Shri Satish Sharma, a gifted sportsperson himself, tried his hand at both these new games after inaugurating these facilities. He congratulated Shri Raju Chowdhary, Chairman of KC Public School, Arti Chowdhary, Managing Director of KC Public School and Arjun Chowdhary, Managing Partner of KC Sports Club for creating and maintaining sports facilities of international standards and thereby offering the youth of Jammu and Kashmir the opportunities to excel in sports of their choice and channelize their energies into a positive direction.

AK Mishra, Principal of KC Public School expressed his gratitude to the Minister for sparing his valuable time to inaugurate these sports facilities and encouraging the young sportspersons of J&K to pursue their dreams in the field of sports.
