Capacity Building programme for Women PRI members concludes at J&K-IMPARD, Srinagar

SRINAGAR, January 19: A three days Capacity Building programme for Women members of Panchayat Raj Institutions of J&K under the programme ‘She is a Change Maker” of the National Commission for Women, New Delhi concluded on 18th January at J&K Institute of Management, Public Administration and Rural Development (J&K IMPARD), Srinagar.

The Capacity Building programme is part of the series joined by elected women members of Panchayat Raj Institutions of all districts of Kashmir Valley including District Development Council Members, Block Development Council Members and Village Panchayat Members.

The series is being fully sponsored by the National Commission for Women to foster Gender Responsive Governance in the system.

The elected members were trained by learned resource persons on different important areas of intervention for the overall empowerment of women.
