Central University of Jammu Conducts Breast Cancer Awareness Program

Jammu, 18 Oct, 2024:  The Central University of Jammu in collaboration with the American Oncology Institute at Acharya Shri Chander College of Medical Sciences & Hospital, successfully organized a Breast Cancer Awareness Program today in the Brigadier Rajinder Singh Auditorium.

The event featured Dr. Surbhi Kudyar, a renowned specialist in Breast Surgery with qualifications in General Surgery (MS) and Breast Oncoplasty (MCH), as the key speaker. Dr. Kudyar addressed critical topics related to breast cancer and benign breast diseases, providing valuable insights and information to the audience.

The program was coordinated by Ashutosh Gupta, Senior Marketing Manager, and Tanushree Khajuria, Deputy Manager Marketing, both from the American Oncology Institute, Jammu. The event was well-attended, drawing over 130 staff members, students, and faculty from the university.

Dr. Vijayata Puri, Senior Medical Officer at the CUJ Health Centre, along with her dedicated supporting staff, Mrs. Alka Saini, Nursing Officer, Mr. Ankur Sharma, Medical Attendant, and Mr. Mohinder Singh, Attendant played a vital role in facilitating the program.
