Central University of Jammu Holds Felicitation Ceremony for CTET Qualifiers
Jammu, 05 August 2024: The Department of Educational Studies, Central University of Jammu organized a felicitation ceremony at Madan Mohan Malviya Bhawan to congratulate the students for qualifying the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) exam. The CTET is a national-level examination conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) to assess the eligibility of candidates for appointment as teachers. Qualifying this exam is a testament to the students’ proficiency and commitment to the teaching profession. A total number of thirty-five students, spanning across various semesters qualified this prestigious test. The event celebrated the academic achievements of the students and marked a significant milestone in their professional journeys.
The event was graced by the presence of Prof. Sanjeev Jain, Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, CUJ who offered the heartfelt congratulations and presented memento to the qualifying students for their accomplishment. He emphasized the importance of the CTET qualification as a stepping stone in their careers, enabling them to contribute significantly to the education sector. He further asserted that the success of students is not just a personal achievement for them but also a reflection of the quality education and guidance provided by our esteemed faculty. They are now equipped to shape the future of our nation by imparting knowledge and values to young minds.
Prof Asit Mantry, Head, Department of Education also extended their warm congratulations to the qualifiers students and congratulated them for their effort and hard earned success. He talked about the significance of the occasion and called it memorable as such a large number of students have qualified for the test. He further added that education should not be limited to the books but should encompass the holistic development of the students.
Faculty members from the Department of Educational Studies and others Dr Aman Bhardwaj, Dr Kiran, Dr Ravi Vanguri, Dr Mohan Galgotra, Dr Vandana Sharma, Dr Shashikant Mishra, Dr Aarushi Baloria, Ms. Shivali Khajuria and Mr. Arvind Aryan were also present at the event.
