CEO Kishtwar meets with heads of schools ahead of new academic session
KISHTWAR, APRIL 08: Chief Education Officer Kishtwar, Prehlad Bhagat, held an introductory meeting with heads of various government higher secondary and high schools in Kishtwar District to discuss the academic plan for the current year.
The CEO directed all heads to implement a biometric attendance system and ensure an enabling environment for students to achieve better learning outcomes. He emphasised the need to maintain sanitation and cleanliness provisions in schools and follow COVID SOPs. He also stressed the need to expedite enrolment drives in respective schools and ensure the enrolment and retention of out-of-school children.
Other topics discussed during the meeting included the academic calendar, co-curricular activities, infrastructure needs, parents-teachers meetings and School Management Committees (SMCs) in institutions.
