CEO UT Ladakh flagged off bike rally to promote Voter Awareness in Leh

LEH, April 04: The District SVEEP Team, Leh organised a Bike Rally to promote voter awareness and participation, today on April 4 from Eco-park. 

The objective of the rally was to engage with citizens directly, disseminate information about the importance of voting and encourage voter registration among eligible individuals. The tagline of the campaign was, ‘Your vote, your choice, your duty’.

The bike rally was flagged off by the Chief Electoral Officer, UT Ladakh, Yetindra M. Maralkar, District Election Officer, Leh, Santosh Sukhadeve along with Joint Chief Electoral Officer, UT Ladakh, Sonam Chosjor, State Nodal Officer, MCC, Sonam Nurboo, Deputy Secretary, Election Department, UT Ladakh, Swarm Singh, Deputy District Election Officer, Leh, A. G. Zargar, SMLT-IT application & SNO-SVEEP, UT Ladakh, Dr. Tsewang Morup, District Nodal Officer, SVEEP, Tajamul Ara and other District Nodal Officers. 

The Bike Rally commenced at Eco Park, Leh and covered many locations near Leh which included Housing Colony, Choglamsar, Agling, Skara and Changspa. The rally concluded at the DC office, Leh.

State SVEEP Icon, Phunsok Ladakhi was also present at the commencement of the rally.
