Ch Lal Singh met with the LG regarding the problems of youth of Jammu
JAMMU, 6 April 2023: Ch. Lal Singh, Founder Chairman of Dogra Swabhiman Sangathan Party and Former MP and Cabinet Minister met with the Lt. Governor Sh. Manoj Sinha today. He apprised the LG about certain obstacles caused by bureaucratic apparatus in the development and reforms in the affairs of JKUT. He informed the LG, that the bureaucrats are taking decisions which are arbitrary unpopular and have potential to damage the common interest of every citizen.
Ch. Lal Singh raised some glaring issues which have serious repercussions on the future of the youth like admission in various institutions including Para Medical, Academic institutions and other professional institutions. Ch. Lal Singh also apprised the LG about the different representations received from general public during 2nd Jan SAMPARAK ABHIYAAN of DSSP which are listed as follows:
· Every student passing out 10th and 12th need to be absorbed in colleges for higher education and, therefore, number of vacancies in each college should be increased.
·Those interested to learn some skills in paramedics, should not be denied admission and therefore, it should be made open for all as it will make them independent to earn for their livelihood.
· Old policy of admission to all should be adopted instead of putting students to rigorous process of going through BOPEE.
· Recruitment agencies like JKSSB, PSC should be strengthened, instead of outsourcing the entrance exam.
· To change the land laws and ensure protection of jobs and land to the locals of the JKUT.
· At last Ch. Lal Singh requested the LG for the separate Jammu state with article 371.Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor, Jammu and Kashmir UT, gave a patient hearing to the issues and demands raised by the Ch. Lal Singh and ensured that all the suitable measures shall be taken
