Chairman DDC Budgam assesses road for Muharram procession; addresses Khul blockage in Daffpora
BUDGAM, July 20: The Chairman, District Development Council (DDC) Budgam, Nazir Ahamd Khan today visited Daffpora Budgam to assess the road conditions for the upcoming Muharram procession and to address the blockage of Khul in the area.
Accompanied by the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of DDC Council and Executive Engineers of Roads & Buildings (R&B) and Irrigation departments, the Chairman conducted an on-site inspection to evaluate the condition of the road, ensuring its suitability and safety for the upcoming religious procession of Muharram.
Furthermore, during the visit, Nazir Ahmad Khan also took immediate action to address the issue of the Khul blockage, a vital waterway in the area. The concerned authorities were directed to initiate necessary measures promptly to resolve the blockage and restore the smooth flow of water to benefit the local community.
The Chairman DDC emphasized the importance of ensuring seamless arrangements for religious events while also acknowledging the significance of maintaining essential infrastructure to meet the needs of the people in Daffpora, Budgam.
He extended his gratitude to the local community and administrative officials for their cooperation during the visit and urged everyone to work collectively for the betterment of the region.
