Chairperson DDC Ramban meets  Banihal fire victims

RAMBAN, FEBRUARY 05: In the aftermath of a devastating fire incident at Sabji Market Banihal last night, Chairperson, District Development Council (DDC) Ramban, Dr. Shamshad Shan, visited the affected area today to assess the situation and extend support to the victims.

Tehsildar Banihal, Imtaiz Ahmed and EO Municipal Committee Banihal and other officers were present on the occasion.

Expressing deep shock and sorrow over the damage caused to the   kiosks belonging to the local vendors, the Chairperson conveyed her heartfelt solidarity. She emphasized the urgency for the administration to ensure swift relief and rehabilitation, underscoring the importance of dignified recovery for those impacted.

The Chairperson urged the authorities to take all necessary measures in expediting the rehabilitation process and ensuring adequate compensation for the affected individuals. She assured the fire victims that every effort would be made to leave no stone unturned in securing adequate compensation, facilitating their recovery from this tragic incident.
