CHC, Khaltse conducts Mobile Medical Unit camp at Singaylalok block

Leh, July 24, 2024: Community Health Center (CHC), Khaltse conducted a multi-specialty MMU (Mobile Medical Unit) camp in Photoksar, Nyerak, Yulchung, Skumpatta, Lingshed and Dipling villages of Singaylalok block from July 18 to July 22.

The team comprised of Pediatrician, Dr. Spalchen Gonbo, Gynecologist, Dr. Padma Lhadol, Dental Surgeon, Dr. Nilza Angmo, laboratory team and RBSK team for screening ailments like anemia and growth and development in children.

Additionally, NCD (Hypertension, diabetes, breast cancer, cervical cancer) and communicable diseases like HIV, Hepatitis B were also screened during the camp.

A total of 100 gynae patients, 133 dental patients, 120 general patients, 69 pediatric patients, 10 vaccinations and 380 various laboratory tests were done during the week’s camp.
