Chief Electoral Officer, Ladakh chairs meeting with State SVEEP Icon and District SVEEP Icons

Leh, April 09, 2024: In view of the General Election to Lok Sabha 2024, Chief Electoral Officer (CEO), UT Ladakh, Yatendra M Maralkar chaired a meeting with State SVEEP Icon, Phunchok Ladakhi, and SVEEP Icons of both the districts in the conference hall of the CEO, Ladakh.

CEO, UT Ladakh impressed upon State SVEEP Nodal Officer and District SVEEP Nodal Officers to maximize the SVEEP awareness programme through State Icon and district icons.

Highlighting the importance of State SVEEP Icon and district SVEEP icons in spreading SVEEP awareness campaign in different parts of Ladakh, CEO UT Ladakh stressed on maximization of the SVEEP awareness campaign by engaging State SVEEP Icon and district icons in the SVEEP awareness activities in Ladakh.

He further said that posters and banners of the SVEEP Icons and the awareness messages should be highlighted at designated places. He also added that the awareness campaign should also be done through short videos of the SVEEP Icons on different social media platforms.

Joint CEO, Sonam Chosjor, Additional Secretary Election, Assistant CEO, State SVEEP Nodal Officer, District SVEEP Nodal Officer, State SVEEP Icon and District SVEEP Icons were present in the meeting. District SVEEP Nodal Officer, Kargil, and district SVEEP icon Kargil joined the meeting through video conferencing.
