CIPMC- Jammu hosts Inspiring Drawing Competition at GGHS Gandhi Nagar Emphasizing Plant Health Awareness

JAMMU, MAY 13: The Central Integrated Pest Management Centre Jammu organized a drawing competition at Government Girls High School, Gandhi Nagar, to commemorate the International Day of Plant Health.


As many as 45 students from 9th and 10th classes participated enthusiastically.


The winners of the competition were duly recognized with prizes and certificates. The event was graced by the presence of Headmaster, Suman Bala, Nodal Officer Cultural Activities, Saiqa Khan and several officials of DPPQ&S, Govt. of India such as Chetna Bisht, Haroon Rashid Hakla Assistant Plant Protection Officer (PP), Sudhir Chander Scientific Assistant, and Surinder Kumar Technical Assistant.


Bala extended her appreciation to the department for organizing such enlightening programs, aimed at instilling awareness among students about the crucial theme of “Save Plants, Save the Planet.” Such initiatives play a pivotal role in nurturing environmental consciousness among the youth, thereby fostering a sustainable future.
