Civil ADM-XI defeats Airforce-XI in Thrilling Match

UDHAMPUR, MARCH 14: In a thrilling encounter between Civil ADM -XI (DM-XI) and Airforce XI, the Civil ADM -XI emerged triumphant, showcasing remarkable skills and teamwork under the guidance of Captain Rafiq Jaral, SDM Ramnagar.    

Opting to bowl first after winning the toss, Airforce XI aimed to capitalize on early breakthroughs. Despite early setbacks, with four wickets down for just 38 runs in 7 overs, Civil ADM -XI rallied back but thanks to Ritik’s outstanding innings of 40 runs off 29 deliveries and Sahil Verma’s steady 25 runs off 21 balls, setting a competitive total of 125 runs in 15 overs.  Vikrant and Asif of Airforce XI delivered exceptional bowling performances, each claiming 2 wickets in their 3 overs, exerting pressure on the Civil ADM-XI batting lineup.

In response, Airforce XI struggled to forge partnerships, managing only 69 runs on the scoreboard. The standout moment of the match was Nasir’s phenomenal bowling, clinching a remarkable 5 wickets in just 3 overs, earning him the well-deserved Man of the Match accolade.

Civil ADM-XI demonstrated outstanding performance throughout the tournament, securing victories in all four matches against Udhampur XI, Army Commander XI, CAPF-XI, and today, Airforce XI, thereby earning their spot in the final match.

Commentator Captain Sachayan  Ghosh and Inderjeet Gupta, a legendary bowler and mentor, provided insightful commentary throughout the match.

Raman Kumar, Rakesh, and Deepak Sharma officiated as umpires for the Bhaichara tournament.
